In 1832 “For the View of the Halls of Countess Stroganova”, the Council of Iakh awarded Nikolai Nikitin with the first silver medal. In 1833, the picture was exhibited at an exhibition in IAX. One of the halls of the Stroganov Palace on Nevsky Prospekt in St. Petersburg is depicted (architect B. Rastrelli; 1753–1756). According to one sources, the interior of the hall is performed according to project a. N. Voronikhina, according to others – according to the project f. L. Demertsova. In the center of the hall, a malachite vase made according to Figure A. Voronikhina. On the left by the window marble statue of the cupid of work e. -M. Falcone. On the right, paintings by Western European artists, including “Rest on the way to Egypt” by Nikola Pusen, “Portrait of Rubens with the son of Albert” of the Rubens school, “Portrait of Nicholas Rocox” Anton Van Dyck. Currently, most paintings are in the GE.
