Mikhail Fedorovich (July 22, 1596 – July 23, 1645) – First Tsar from the Romanov dynasty, grandfather Peter I. The son of Boyarin Fedor Nikitich Romanov-Yuryev, his nephew of the first wife of Ivan the Terrible Anastasia Romanovna Zakharyina and the cousin of Tsar Fedor Ioannovich, and Ksenia Ivanovna Shestova. Elected to the kingdom of the Zemsky Cathedral on February 21 (March 3) 1613, rules from March 27, 1613, crowned on July 11, 1613. The domestic and foreign policy in the reign of Mikhail Fedorovich was aimed at eliminating the consequences of the Time of Troubles. On September 18, 1624 he married Princess Maria Vladimirovna Dolgoruka, who soon died. The first portrait of Mikhail Fedorovich was placed in the 1st Schleswig publication “Travels of the famous German traveler and scientist Adam Olearius” 1647. To the original a. Olearia also rises the engraved portrait of Mikhail Fedorovich from the “Titulard” of 1672 – the directory of the titles of Russian and foreign rulers. The latter, apparently, became a model for the portrait from the meeting of the timing. The portrait was probably performed either at the end of the reign of Fedor Alekseevich, or during the reign of Princess Sophia (1682–1689). Svetlana Moiseeva / Peter I. Time and environment.
